I've started playing around with blogger and my posts will be there until I become motivated enough to work on my blog stuff again. Blogger now allows you a couple of options for publishing at your domain, so it'll still be here at z425..

The updates are out of control!!

daddyTuring is 4 wheel drive now. He prefers to off road as much as possible. It's actually quite interesting watching him learn to walk. I watch pretty closely as I'm looking for robot tricks-n-tips. One thing he does is intentional practicing. Sometimes he'll overcome a tough spot, turn around, and try it again and again.
He's not talking yet, but he's at the point where he understands a good chunk of what you are talking about. His vocabulary just grows at a ridiculous rate. .....

Let's have an update

It's been awhile... I've really fallen off the planet as far as z425 is concerned. One of my friends asked me if I gave up on z425 and have another site elsewhere. Nope. Just have not updated. In fact, I barely even go to other people's sites anymore.

I'll do a quick update in each 'category' haha.

daddy Turing is more awesome each day. He's walking around 99.9% of the time now. The weather is started to be nice and we get to go outside. All is good. The other day .....

Official 3D heli extreme

I am official a 3D heli pilot now! Woo.

This is my new heli. It's put together from many, many trades. It's a TRex 450XL HDE that been upgraded to pretty much a SE except for the metal frame bits and boom supports (I prefer the aluminum sides, but I do have the carbon fiber ones.) It's sporting an Align 35G ESC with a JGF 450F motor (I have two Align 3550's laying around too.) For a TX I have a DX7 ( freakin awesome ) and the RX is an AR6100. The gyro is a GY401 with a 9650 on the t .....

60 cents a day

For the month of November the daily average for z425 income was 60 cents! Incredible!

Remember when I said I could be making minimum wage by the end of the year from google.

Well. Of course it is not going to happen. I still think that it is possible with a little bit of effort. The problem is/was that I was not willing to put in that effort.

Quite a bit of my engineered posts immediately started bringing in money. The more I did, the better .....

New job at Humanhead

Today was my first day at the new job.

I went in at 9am and left at 5pm. What's up with those hours? That can't last. haha.

My baby/job schedule is going to be pretty tough. I don't do lower sleep hours very well, but if I want any time to myself it'll be from eating into sleep.

Currently the schedule has me toggling between going in at 9am and 11am. Which is also weird for me. Morning? WTF is that? I don't remember the weekend schedule at t .....

Microsoft was very nice today.

I got a mail from connect saying that they were giving me a free copy of Vista Ultimate because I submitted some bugs.

Excellent. That saves me like $250 or whatever it is going to cost.
