new heli milestone, but now i'm grounded. doh.

i landed on a bar stool. awesome.

then i took off and tried again a few times, but decided i was getting a bit too cocky so i moved away from the stool.

and straight into the blanket on the couch. not so awesome.

i broke one of the stabilizer holders on the the stabilizer hub. if i could find the stupid piece i could fix it with some CA. blast.

this is thing is touch though. i did replace one of the blades because it had a big gash in it and the craft was getting squirrly. actually, all the blades have big gashes in them from my multiple cases of suckage. luckily parts are cheap. $5 for 6 blades and a new stabilizer hub (plus shaft, wtf) will cost $3.50. shipping is the killler though. i think i gotta convince the local hobby shop to stock these helis and parts. they have other micro helis, but not this one.
