aerial video success

Woo.. RC heli video clip action! This one I got the heli up to about 25ft. You can see the Capitol if you look closely. We're actually only a mile away, but the wide fov on the camera makes it look further. I guess that's why it also looks like it is only 10ft off the ground.

This one is up about 50ft and it was scary for me to fly that high. This one is facing the opposite direction and you can see our house in it.

So I'm offically an addict to this in-flight video stuff. I'm not going to use this camera anymore though. I'm going to look into other solutions. The camera is just on the edge of being too heavy. I think if I got a camera about 50% lighter, and used a smaller battery for it, I could fly all the time with video. What would be ideal is to mount the camera directly to the battery and use the heli battery to power the camera too. There are issues with noise, but I probably can work passed it.
