a handrail for the condo
when we sold the condo i had to do a bunch of stupid work to appease the buyer. this is one of those things.
according to code there was supposed to be a handrail in that spot. the condo original had a cast iron one that was lost by a previous owner at some point. i understand why it was taken off.. the space is much more open without it.. all of our neighbors even took theirs off. but no.. the punk buyer had to have a stupid handrail.. so i built him one. a pretty damn strong one at that!
btw. no. i did not lathe those. who has a lathe. for that matter.. i don't have any tools. that was built with a jigsaw, a drill, a screw driver, and a hammer.
