i thought for sure my full proof plan was going to work.

go to shopko 2 hours before they open. shopko is where i got my xbox on launch, so why not try for a repeat for the x360.

joel and i went. joel was 7th, i was 8th in line. i talked to the clerk the day before and she said there was "less than 10, but they were all the premiums."

about 30 minutes after being there the manager came out.. we only got 4, can't you read the sign? oh.. there is no sign? they were supposed to put up a sign last night.

so we failed. i guess thems videogames are popular now. i'm not really all that disappointed. maybe that's because i had a devkit almost all year. that kinda can take the sizzle away. too close. too close.

anyway. i'm very interested in the whole artificial scarcity thing. i just can't believe that microsoft will not have machines to sell on black friday. that is just crazy.
