kerry rally

i just got back from the kerry rally. it was pretty great. 80,000+ peoples. that's crazy and a record for wisconsin. anyway, this was the tide turner for me. i am officially a kerry supporter now. i already voted for him a week ago (cuz wisconsin is awesome like that), but i still was not convinced he would make a good president. i voted for him mainly because bush is such an assclown.

now i am convinced. he seemed fucking pissed off and that was awesome. there was still some of that political face bullshit, but mostly just a lot of actual passion.

this is all quite a change from when i first heard of kerry. initially i was planning on voting for dean and then i read some stuff (i don't remember what) that he said that pissed me off, so i switched to kucinich. no way he could be president, but he had guts and didn't pander to anyone. so i voted for kucinich as a big fuck you to dean.

well, kerry won the primary. wtf is this guy? the more i researched the less impressed i wasl. i even went so far as to talk smack on a few forums and the orkut kerry group. haha. that was fun.

over the last year, something has happened to the man. he seems totally different now. that's pretty awesome.

btw. i got to see feingold too. he is so awesome. everyone here loves him. i think people cheered almost as loud for him as they did for kerry... 2008 obama/feingold. woo.
