i bet they'll patent it

www.naturalmotion.com , the second demo video has some physics based posing with gravity off. they gave it a name, "active posing" or something. i implemented this over a year and a half ago along with 3 or 4 variants of it. i was talking to another developer a week ago and they mentioned they were experimenting with it too. it is so blatently obvious it is ridiculous.. i bet that won't stop the patent office though.

this is exactly the type of stuff i should be talking about in this blog. there are a couple of interesting things in my notes, but typically i don't write notes about the really cool stuff. i usually write notes on things that i am working out and feel like writing down to help the process.

so i am going to try and remember while programming.. uh. is this something that somebody might want to try and patent? oh it is. i better go document it in my blog.
