pulled in a HUGE!! day at the adsense office today.. and it's sunday!! can you believe it..
$0.78
that brings the grand all time total up to $1.63. out of control.
i built a page generator for janel's china pages.. http://projectjanel.org/china/index.html
her china pages dominate our search referrals in the logs and i was interested how they would perform. i mean after all.. she is #1 IN THE WORLD OMG for 'dirty dirt'..
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=dirty+dirt&btnG=Google+Search
i'm still not understanding our raw logs. anything z425 related is so low in volume that it barely shows up at all. now that i've added the china pages and janel's b2e blog she has a decent number of visitors. it's showing more than me, but not astronomically more like i'd expect, especially considering that google understands her sites a lot better than mine. her site map shows 20 top search querries (with beauts like 'chinese toilets').. all i get is.. hey you are top 1-5 for 'billy zelsnack'.. gee, i'd hope freak'n so.
tonight i cleaned up the urls for the new pages. i hope googlebot isn't going to get too upset with the constant churn lately. oh well.
www.z425.com/its-whats-for-dinner will be my blog (soon) and there will be a bunch of other top level directories for my random other click empire ideas, but they'll probably be link isolated from its-whats-for-dinner. the blog is still incredibly ugly with its shapemaniac colors, but i do plan on making it look clean semi-polished (at least as much as i can polish with my crap art skills). i also have the rss generation working http://z425.com/its-whats-for-dinner/rss.xml
btw. php has the ability to run command line now. it's definitely useful for running my pagegen scripts local (i hate having a webserver running), but it's also pretty damn useful for general shell scripting. while php is based upon C, it does have classes, a function for anything/everything, is dynamically typed (if you want), and has greately enhanced string handling. i think i'll be using it for many other tasks.
