Google finally indexed me again

Woo. Finally I get to start doing real SEO! A few new pages showed up in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages). One of the pages started at the top position for the exact title and is #10 for a subset of the title. Not bad for a start.

Now that I have some actually data I noticed a problem right off.. The results were showing text from my navigation and not from the actual content. Showing up #1 is not so useful if what it shows is not related. I reordered some things and did some css tweaks and it should be fixed next time google grabbed it.

One thing that I should of done ages ago was submit my old blogs to the google url removal console tool. I knew it existed, but I don't know why the hell I did not do it. It should work extremely well too since it directly uses the robots.txt.

Now that I am actually being indexed I am going to change the way I show ads. I'm going to remove all the ads from Janel's china pages. I'll also only show the ads if a page has been around for 2 weeks or so. So hopefully after that, all ya'll real z425 readers should not see any adsense. OMG. I will be throwing away that big 50cents a day!
