running

The new shoes are working well. No problems.

Now I'm doing 2.25 miles. Did it in 20:30. That's 9.11 minute miles. Not so bad. If I can continue that pace I would do a 5k in 28:30.

Next time I run I'll go a bit farther. I have been just adding extra blocks to my run and then drive the car to see how far it is.

I think the plan going forward is to run a 5k several times. If I can do it under 30 minutes I'll be happy. After that I'll just move to running for 10 minutes in one direction and then turning around and trying to get home before another 10 minutes is up.
