For $99 a year you get access to a devkit that'll allow you to develop games on the x360 AND let other people play them.
Good job Microsoft. Now get rid of the STUPID $99 price and ship a devkit with every system. If you were really smart you could have it ship with Basic and it'd be just like the C64! The kiddies can plug in their keyboard and bam... You are now breeding loyal developers for your next generation.
