ok. this is pretty awesome.

i'd heard about the gamepark a few times, but i didn't actually know that it was meant for open development.

quite tempting. looking around you can grab one for $180. my only issue is that you could build something that was better for less. that is if you consider your time spent on your projects worth zero dollars (which is the going rate i charge myself.)

hmm. i wonder if you could take the concept to the next level and have open source-ish console hardware. basically a spec that companies could take and build compatible hardware with certain minimum specs.
