this is a 3axis mems unit. i chose this particular one because compared to everyone else, this evalkit is very accessible. what i really like is the demo software it comes with. it just has a bunch of demos. WHAT A CONCEPT. these companies are typically so stupid. they spend millions of dollars to develop something and don't take the last step. the easier and less expensive you make it for a hobbiest to play with your stuff, the more likely you'll get random orders for 100k units for crazy products.

now i can't make a proper revolution controller without adding some gyros or a magnetometers, but i'll see what i can do.
