Wisconsin Harbor Freight

I blame Don. One day at kickball I mentioned something about Harbor Freight and he said.. Hey, we should go sometime.

Go?? You mean that there is a Harbor Freight nearby!!! Sweet lord, why did I not know about this?

We went today. It was awesome!!! My goal was to buy a two-axis drill press vice, but I ended up with some other lower cost stuff. Apparently they have online 20% off coupons you an print out. So that'll wait for the next trip.

I did get some lower cost stuff I had been meaning to get... Some chisels, a flat file, some packing tape, a heat gun (for my to-be vacuum-forming project, and... a little free-flight plane for $7.

It's terrible that I know the store exists. Tons of super cheap made-in-china tools and only 4 miles away!

About that plane.. Don got one too (a different model) and they flew amazingly well. My best flight was about 30 seconds. 30 seconds is a long time for something to be flying around on its own. Flying was fun, but it was also fun throwing tennis balls at them when we had to constantly get them out of the trees. It also was enough to finally push me into buying a 3D plane. Damn it. I have all the parts from my helis anyway right?
