GMail is barfing on this video and I wanted to send it to some people, so I'll just put it here.

I bought this thing broken from a guy on the forums for a huge discount. I got my parts today and this is the second flight. The first flight it would not lift off the ground. A few adjustments and it flies quite well. I was planning on flipping it and selling it quickly, but it's actually much nicer than I was expecting. We'll see how long it lasts. It still might be too big to fly in the house and that's what I really want for the winter.



The video is pretty short as my memory card ran out on me. doh.

Jason got a mailing from these assholes. He called them up. Apparently they hire another organization to collect money for them and only 15% goes to Wisconsin Narcotics Officers Association. From that they give some unknown amount to the actual officer training. So pretty much nothing.

At the bottom of the form it has a checkbox..

"I am contributing an additional $3.00 to defray the fundraiser's mailing and processing costs."

hahahha. Even worse than that.. It states that you can not even deduct your donation.

Who in the world would be stupid enough to donate to this? How can this shit be legal?

There's a bus parked outside my window. That's quite unusual. Turing likes buses so I pick him up to look at it.

Hmm. What's that water dripping from the back exit? WTF. Is the bus driver peeing from inside the bus and letting it drip out the door? WTF! No way.... Holy shit. He is. When he's done he zips up, walks to the front of the bus, switches the sign back from 'not in service' and continues on his way.

Usually my run-ins are with the fine parking officers doing and saying idiotic things, but this is so much better. haha.
